Daring Brugge takes the title in third provincial

Daring Brugge needed one point to be completely sure of the title. The match started with a minute of applause for deceased youth coach Patrick Deketenare. For many Daring Brugge players it was one of their first trainers and they wanted to honor him with an early goal. After barely four minutes, Vyncke put the 1-0 on the board. The home team was clearly the most eager and put nice combinations on the mat.

After the break, Dudzele came out of the dressing room with new jerseys and new courage, but creating opportunities remained difficult. Bruges even finished it just after the break. Vyncke painted a cross towards Mascaux who scored the redeeming goal, 2-0.

Daring Brugge became champion with a victory and that was very gratifying after that missed opportunity last week.
