Daphne Bunskoek is very surprised about the statements that Lil Kleine makes about the abuse of his ex-girlfriend Jaimie Vaes, about eight months ago. “Isn’t this yellow crazy?”
Jorik Scholten, better known as Lil Kleine, caused a lot of controversy last week with his presence at a premiere party of Tino Martin. There he was not very keen on interviews with the media, but did speak briefly to a journalist from weekly magazine Privé. Those statements are in this week’s magazine.
Jorik speaks
Jorik has to say, among other things, that he misses the performance so much. “When I see all those people happily singing along, I get the creeps. I would love to do this again. Everything that has happened in my life has left a lot on the back burner. That hurts, because I want to entertain people. I long for the big gigs.”
According to Jorik, all those performances will come back. “I’m convinced of that. I have to be patient. Time heals all wounds. I have a lot of confidence in it.’”
‘I’am sorry’
Then Jorik talks about the much-discussed abuse of his ex-girlfriend Jaimie Vaes. “Everyone makes mistakes, me too. And every person is allowed to correct his mistakes. That’s how I look back on it. I have to make the most of it. And be the best version of myself. And that every time. I’m working on that. I’m working on myself and that pays off.”
He continues: “I would have done a lot of things completely differently. There is certainly regret. It is a very expensive, but especially hard lesson that I am going through. My father always says, “Everything happens for a reason.” Maybe it should have happened that way.”
Daphne stunned
Maybe it should have just happened that Jorik crushed Jaimie’s head in his car door? What kind of nonsense is this again? Daphne Bunskoek reacts bewildered in RTL Boulevard. “Expensive lesson?! That’s a very strange reaction, isn’t it?”
Colleague Luuk Ikink: “Yes, it is quite a violent event that took place there. I hope that didn’t ‘have to happen’. That seems crazy to me.”
‘Very crazy’
Rob Goossens does not know what he is hearing either. “What I also think is very strange: he made that video, didn’t he? Of that, Jaimie has said: ‘He apologizes, but not to me.’ Now just again! Apologies again, but not to Jaimie! When will he finally say sorry to Jaimie?”
Daphne: “Yes!”
Luke: “We will wait and see.”
