Danny de Munk is supported by none other than Tineke de Nooij. The radio maker does not believe the rape report that was made against him. “It’s outrageous!”
The rape report made against Danny de Munk has serious consequences for his career. For example, he has already lost a lucrative job at RTL 4. The station is happy to wait to see how this case develops. Ridiculous, thinks radio producer Tineke de Nooij.
‘Vengeful fan’
Tineke does not believe at all that Danny raped anyone. “Nowadays you are quickly hung from the highest tree. Apart from the fact that there are a lot of women that this happens to, there are also scary fans who want revenge. I think this falls under the heading of revenge as well. There is no other way,” she says in the weekly magazine Story.
She really blames that ‘vengeful fan’ of Danny for what’s happening now. “I think it’s disgraceful and meanwhile someone’s life and family are being destroyed. He has his back against the wall and that charge could just lie there for a year. Terrible.”
‘Fans can act weird’
Tineke sympathizes very much with Danny. “Fans can do weird things. Especially when they seek personal contact. There is always a danger that fans will fall in love with the star. And when it turns out that it’s not mutual, it turns into a blinding hatred.”
She concludes: “I think every one of us in the public eye has a story about this. (…) What I’m saying is that every story has two sides.”
