Danny de Munk would like to win the Gouden Televizier-Ring this year. He calls on people to vote for his program De Hollandse Nieuwe, which was a big flop on SBS 6 this summer.
The annual party where TV stars hand out prizes to each other, the Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala, is approaching. The fourth and final qualifying round started this week: one more time TV viewers can nominate programs for a spot on the long list. Only programs on this 25-piece long list can win the Televizier-Ring.

Danny de Munk also wants to win that television prize once and that is why he calls on his followers to vote for De Hollandse Nieuwe, which was last seen on SBS 6 last weekend. This talent show was a huge flop on SBS 6. Not. so strange, because the other people involved were Samantha ‘diet pill’ Steenwijk and Jeroen van der Boom.
It is of course completely inconceivable that such a viewership flop can win prizes at all, but that Danny de Munk is applying for a cup on his Instagram channel is completely unworldly. After all, that prize is called the Golden Televizier Ring and not the Golden Televizier Ankle Bracelet.

All kidding aside: it is of course far from clear whether Danny is indeed guilty of rape. In any case, his fellow celebrities believe nothing of the report that was made against him. “I’m disgusted by this smear to tell the truth honestly. I think it’s really bad. Really bad”, says Wolter Kroes, for example, in the new Weekend.
It’s just nonsense what’s being spread about Danny, he says. “Whoever burns his buttocks must sit on the blisters. But for Danny de Munk I put my hand in the fire. I don’t believe he raped anyone.”
