The Russian website MatchTV reported the forward of the KHL club Several Daniil Vovchenko the wife Jana Vovchenko-Aleksandrovan ran over a little girl who was crossing the road in the town of Cherepovets.
A video of the accident is spreading on the Telegram service, which shows the Porche Maca driven by Vovchenko-Aleksandrova speeding onto the crosswalk, even though another car has stopped next to it, waiting for pedestrians.
The girl, who was traveling with her 65-year-old grandfather, was taken from the scene to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with minor injuries to her head and legs. The grandfather survived the incident uninjured.
According to MatchTV, the investigation is now in what condition the woman was driving the car.

However, the hockey star admits that what happened is hard to watch.

Vovchenko, 26, has represented Severstal throughout his KHL career. The winger has seven matches for the Russian national team.
