Daniel Schmidt returns to the PVH Group after almost 20 years and takes on the role of Director Sales – Calvin Klein at the Düsseldorf location.
Schmidt, who was area manager of womenswear for southern Germany for the Tommy Hilfiger brand, which belongs to the US clothing group, from 2005 to 2007, announced his return to PVH on Monday on the career network Linkedin.
He previously held management positions in sales for the Rottendorf-based clothing provider S.Oliver Group, including head of wholesale for the German-speaking region. Further stops included the fashion companies Digel, Hugo Boss, Marc O’Polo and Esprit.
While Schmidt strengthens Calvin Klein’s team, the US brand is set to cut positions in its European team in design, product development and other creative departments.
