A dog experienced perilous moments in the center of Helmond this week. An elderly woman was walking her dog at a park in her mobility scooter when the strap got stuck at the rear wheel.
The belt was pulled tighter by the rotating wheels. The woman saw this in time, was shocked and called for help. People nearby came to help and released the dog.

The dog was taken to a vet and is now doing well, the police announced on Friday evening.
