“On the days before Liberation Day it is a lot cooler than in other years. On average it is then 15 to 20 degrees, but now about 11 to 13 degrees,” says Berend. Thursday 4 May is the hottest day of the week. But will we also get those temperatures on Liberation Day in Zoetermeer?

Berend: “The forecast is still somewhat uncertain, but it seems that the afternoon temperature will rise above 15 degrees everywhere. The highest values are found in the south of the country. It will be over 18 degrees there.” Zoetermeer residents should put on a coat or bring it with them during the afternoon and evening program on the Markt, just to be on the safe side.
Bring an umbrella
It might be smart to bring an umbrella to the Liberation Festival in Zoetermeer. “There seems to be no question of a soaking wet day, but scattered showers can fall across the country,” says Berend. For now, the forecast is that there is a chance of rain all day, but the sun will also show itself regularly.

In the evening, big children can let loose to the music of La Fuente, DJ Jean and the Snollebollekes, among others. With a bit of luck we can dance in the sun for a while.
