Damper for German hockey men

The German hockey world champions suffered a setback about two months before the European Championships at home.

Andre Henning’s team, who won World Cup gold in India in January, lost 3-0 (1-0) to Great Britain in the Pro League in London. On Tuesday (1.10 p.m. / DAZN) the second duel with the British will take place at the same place.

The game against Great Britain was the first in more than three months for the German team, who still have seven games to play in the Pro League before the start of the European Championship in Mönchengladbach on August 19th.

In addition to the men, the women also meet the team from Great Britain in London. Valentin Altenburg’s selection won the first duel on Friday 2-0 (0-0), the second will take place on Monday (9:10 p.m. / DAZN).
