Damme: only Flemish book village celebrates 25th anniversary

Damme is the only book village that remains in Flanders. Only the Walloon Redu still bears that title.

However, 25 years after the start of the project, Damme notices that the interest in books has dropped considerably. Few bookshops remain in Damme.
