Germany wants to make it clear that they will reach the final of the Nations League. However, one player will not be able to help in the second leg in France.
The German women’s national team has to do without Linda Dallmann due to illness. As the German Football Association (DFB) announced on Monday, the FC Bayern player will not travel to Caen and will miss the semi-final second leg of the Nations League in France.
For the duel on Tuesday (from 9:10 p.m. in the t-online live ticker), national coach Christian Wück decided not to be nominated later. Dallmann had previously only been nominated on call. After Lena Oberdorf was unavailable (torn cruciate ligament), she moved up to the squad. In the first leg win in Düsseldorf, Germany won 1-0 against France – although Dallmann was not used.
The DFB women are hoping to reach the final. Then Spain would most likely be the opponent in the return leg at the end of November/beginning of December. The world champions beat Sweden 4-0 in the first semi-final.
