Disastrous day for Audi at Dakar 2023. During the sixth stage, the Ha’il-Al Duwadimi of 877 km, (of which 466 of special stage) the French Stephane Peterhansel, who was second in the general classification behind the Qatari Nasser Al Attiyah was the victim of an accident at km 200 which forced him to retire. Things went worse for co-driver Edouard Boulanger who was taken to hospital for tests, accusing back pain following the accident.
