Late last year, Dave and Jazzlyn had their first child: son Dean. The boy is named after Dave’s grandmother, Dien, who died three years ago and with whom Dave had a close relationship.
In the series, which can be seen weekly on Discovery+ from 3 March, the perils of the new parents are discussed, but also how their family and friends are always ready for the couple. The first episode of the series shows how the birth gets underway. During the delivery, however, Dave decided not to look at ‘the gate’, as he calls it. After 36 hours, son Dean was born.
