Dad for lovethe plot of the movie

Vincent Marguet (Vincent Dedienne) is about thirty years old and almost by chance he starts babysitting Bart Canova (Oscar Pauleau), a little boy who lives in his own building. Bart’s mother, Élise (Anne Charrier)is often away from home because of work and help in managing the child can only prove to be the winning choice.

The film comes alive when Elise is summoned from Bart’s new school to attend the parents’ meeting. Unable to go, she asks Vincent to replace her, both unaware of what will happen from then on. When the babysitter shows up at school in place of Bart’s mother, misunderstanding after another begins and everyone will believe that Vincent is the boy’s real father.

To corroborate this theory is Bart himself, who in front of the teachers calls him “dad”. In reality, he never met his real father, he suffers from his absence and the relationship with Vincent will be a way to partially fill that void that came to be created. After a first warm impact, Vincent joins the parents’ groupperhaps even too well.

Vincent to conquer Bart and Nora

To give him the push to be appreciated by everyone is the meeting with the teacher Nora Portel (Camélia Jordana). Although aware of the unjust and risky staging, Vincent cannot stop. On the contrary, he gets more and more involved in collateral activities and, in a short time, it becomes a point of reference for students, parents and teachers.

Swimming lessons, trips, school plays. Vincent throws himself headlong into his new parenting business. He is appreciated by everyone, in particular by Bart, who finds a reference figure in him, and from Nora. However, the frenetic commitment to numerous extracurricular activities collides with an objective fact: Vincent is not Bart’s father.

How long will he be able to wear clothes that are not his own without consequences? And what will happen when Nora finds out? Will she be willing to forgive such a big lie? On the other hand, Vincent pretends to be a dad for love. And he does it both towards Bart, with whom he will establish a strong and special relationship, and towards Nora, with whom he falls in love more and more every day.
