Cypress Hill are playing a concert in Germany

The legendary rap group Cypress Hill is giving a concert in Stuttgart on August 15th. The occasion is the 30th anniversary of their album BLACK SUNDAY.

The legendary rap group Cypress Hill from the USA is coming to Germany. On August 15, the quartet, consisting of rappers B-Real and Sen Dog, producer DJ Muggs and percussionist Eric Bobo, will perform at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart. The reason for this is the 30th anniversary of their renowned album BLACK SUNDAY.

Cypress Hill released their self-titled debut album in 1991. This already laid a promising foundation for the career of the Los Angeles group. The group made their international breakthrough in 1993 with BLACK SUNDAY. The album debuted at #1 on the US charts and stayed on the chart for a total of 56 weeks. In Germany, the album reached number 36.

Casual cannabis-related tracks like “I Wanna Get High” or the internationally acclaimed “Hits From The Bong” are joined on BLACK SUNDAY by classic gangsta rap songs like “I Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That” and Lick A Shot. The iconic beat of “Insane In The Brain” should be familiar to music fans of all genres. If you’re even remotely interested in old school US rap, you can’t ignore BLACK SUNDAY.

The German hip-hop community received the news that Cypress Hill will be giving a concert in Stuttgart with corresponding euphoria. Because apart from this date, performances by the group from South Gate in Germany are unfortunately scarce. With their tour for the new album BACK IN BLACK, Cypress Hill are coming to the USA, Canada, England, Italy, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
