Cynthia “Plaster Caster” Albritton has died at the age of 74 years. Albritton was known as a passionate music lover and he rose to prominence with his plaster casts in the ’60s and’ 70s. According to Varietyn, Albritton died of a long-term illness.

What made the woman’s art special was that she imitated the penis of rock musicians in her work. Albritton’s career began around 1968 when a woman met musician Frank Zappan, who at the time considered the visions of Albritton in his twenties fun and creative. Frank Zappa refused to act as a model but helped Albritton move to Los Angeles.

Later that year, Albritton met guitarist Jimi Hendrix and the man became the first model for a successful plaster cast. Later, Albritton has used the rock band MC5 as its model Wayne Krameria and Buzzcocks Pete Shelleyta. Albritton has also reproduced the breasts of female artists in its plaster lights.

– I tried to come up with a way to shape my penis and I thought, the whole package will be done right away with the musicians, it will make it even more absurd and fun, he described his career in an interview in 2000.

The New York Post, among others, also reported on Albritton’s departure.

In 2000, Albritton held its first exhibition of its plaster lights in New York. In addition, a documentary on a woman’s life has been published in 2001 Plaster Caster.
