Storm Ilenia significantly spoiled the weather in western Russia. In Poland, a tornado passed through several communities on Thursday morning. More than fifty houses are seriously damaged or destroyed. A little later, a crane collapsed under the pressure of the wind in Krakow. The elements raged some three hundred or four hundred kilometers from the Russian border.
Inherited from “Ilenia” and Western European countries. In Germany, huge waves staged floods in port cities. In Hamburg, the building of the fish market was flooded. In Britain, even the huge turbines of wind farms could not withstand the squalls. Wind gusts reached 41 meters per second.
