“Of course I would have preferred to win in that tricolor, but there was a sloping edge behind the Otegem washboard and I misjudged that during the final round,” says Sanne Cant. “I had always driven the perfect line during the entire cross. Until then. I then had to pass completely to drive to the wheel of Marion Norbert Riberolle, but in the last straight line the fat had worn off a bit and I laid down I’m resigned to that second place.”
