A cyclist was trapped under a car after a collision. That happened tonight in Assen, in front of the station.
For unknown reasons, the motorist and the cycling woman collided during a bicycle crossing. The cyclist was dragged several meters under the car after the accident.
The fire brigade, ambulance service and police arrived on the scene. The fire service lifted the car up a bit to free the woman. She was then rushed to hospital by ambulance. It is unknown how serious the injuries are.
