A small North Holland enclave is created at the French cycling team B&B Hotels-KTM. Cyclist Cees Bol (Zaandam) previously announced that he would switch to the team, Zaandammer Ramon Sinkeldam follows his training buddy according to the AD. He rode for Groupama-FDJ in recent years.
Sinkeldam participated in the Dutch National Championships last month, but did not get further than eleventh place. Bol has had a difficult season at Team DSM and no longer felt confident there. After he got off thirteen stages in the Giro d’Italia. Bol got corona at the Tour of Switzerland and was therefore passed for the Tour de France. He did not win any stages during the cycling season.
The team of Bol (27) and Sinkeldam (33) was founded in 2018 and is led by former professional Jerome Pineau. The North Hollanders have to ensure success in the sprints.
