A collision between a van and a cyclist took place on the N247 near Edam around 8 p.m.
The accident happened at the intersection Molenwerf with the provincial road N247. The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident. The road to Oosthuizen has been closed due to the investigation.
