Cyclist seriously injured in accident in Oekene

The accident happened around 9:30 am. The man was on the road with a group of about ten cyclists. The group came from Sint-Eloois-Winkelstraat. At the same time a car came from the other direction. He collided head-on with one of the cyclists. The MUG had to come to the scene just like the police of the RIHO zone. The cyclist was taken to hospital. The road was closed to all traffic for a while.
