A cyclist was seriously injured this afternoon on the bicycle path along the provincial road in Krommenie. This happened due to an accident between an electric bicycle and a scooter.
A police spokesman said it is not yet clear what exactly happened. “A trauma helicopter has arrived. The victim is being taken to hospital,” he says.
The victim suffered serious head injuries, the spokesperson said.
The bike path is closed because the traffic accident analysis of the police is investigating the accident.
