A cyclist was seriously injured on Wednesday night after being hit by a motorist at the intersection of Ringbaan Noord and Waalstraat in Tilburg. This happened around a quarter past one.
According to a 112 correspondent, the cyclist wanted to cross the Ringbaan Noord from Waalstraat when things went wrong.

A passing doctor saw the cyclist lying on the road and offered first aid. Due to the seriousness of the situation, an air ambulance was called in. The seriously injured victim was taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
How the collision could have happened is being investigated.
