An accident happened this afternoon near Nieuw-Balinge between a motorist and a cyclist. The latter fell and was injured. Ambulance staff took care of the victim and took her to the hospital moments later. The driver of the car escaped unharmed.
The collision happened at the intersection between the Hullenzandweg and the Haarweg, around 1.30 pm.
The cause of the accident is unknown. The police are investigating.
