A cyclist was injured on the Zuiderdiep in Nieuw-Buinen this afternoon. The cyclist was hit by a car.
The driver of the car probably overlooked the cyclist when turning. A collision ensued. The cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
