A cyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Smilde this afternoon. The victim was taken to hospital. Nothing further is known about his injuries.
The accident happened on Veenhoopsweg (N371), near the shopping center in the village. The cause of the collision is still unclear. The police are investigating.
