A cyclist was hit by a car on the roundabout on the Oosteinderweg in Wognum this afternoon around 5.45 pm. The cyclist was injured and taken to hospital.
“The cyclist was injured in the collision and was taken to hospital by ambulance,” a police spokesperson told NH News. An air ambulance also came to the accident. The spokesman does not know how serious the cyclist’s injuries are.
The motorist was not injured in the collision. “We are still investigating what happened,” said the spokesman.
