A cyclist was injured late this afternoon after being hit by a car driver. This happened at the intersection of Huzarenlaan and Annerweg in Zuidlaren.
The cyclist fell hard to the ground as a result of the collision and had to be stabilized by ambulance personnel. He was then taken to hospital. The motorist escaped unscathed. It is unclear how the accident could happen.
