A cyclist suffered a serious fall in Roden this morning due to slippery conditions. This happened at the intersection of Ceintuurbaan Noord with De Hulst.
Around seven o’clock this morning, the cyclist fell due to ice formation on the road. Ambulance and police arrived on the scene, the victim was so injured that transport to hospital was required.
The police were at the intersection to warn other cyclists about slippery conditions. Until 10 a.m. this morning, code yellow applies in our province, because certain road sections may freeze.
