An 87-year-old cyclist died on Thursday afternoon after a collision in Haps. This is reported by the police. The woman collided with a car on Kalkhofseweg around two o’clock in the afternoon.
The cyclist was resuscitated on the spot and taken to hospital a short time later under the supervision of the trauma doctor.
He had just landed near the accident with the trauma helicopter. The help was to no avail. It is still unclear how exactly the accident happened and the police are investigating.
