A 63-year-old man from Sint-Michielsgestel died on Wednesday evening after being hit by a car on his bicycle. The accident happened around half past six on the Schijndelseweg in his hometown.
The cyclist ended up on the windshield of the car and then fell to the ground. The man suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Tilburg.
The victim died of his injuries later that evening. The motorist was unharmed. The police are continuing to investigate the accident.
