A 50-year-old cyclist from Boekel died on Sunday after he collided head-on with a classic car in Gemert with his racing bike. The accident happened around twelve o’clock on Sunday morning on the Esdonk, in the outlying area between Gemert and Boekel.
Emergency services attempted to resuscitate the victim, but he died on the spot from his injuries. It is unknown how the accident happened. This is being investigated by the police.
