The German professional cyclist Max Walscheid joins the Australian racing team Jayco AlUla in 2024. The sprinter will receive a two-year contract there and will play a supporting role for Sprint colleague Dylan Groenewegen.

The team, which is co-financed by the tourism agency of the Al-ʿUla region in Saudi Arabia, wants to use Walscheid’s skills in the classic races in Belgium and France, among other places.
