For a while now Elia Viviani has marked in red on his calendar what will be the key date of his season, August 8: the day of the Olympic Omnium in Paris, when the 34-year-old from Verona will try for the third podium in five circles in a row in the specialty after the gold in Rio 2016 and the bronze in Tokyo 2021.
