The winning wheel at the finish line in Terni is that of Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal). In the third stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico the Australian preceded the French Demare (Groupama-Fdj) and the Dutch Kooij (Jumbo-Visma). A group sprint that even today did not see Elia Viviani (Ineos) as the protagonist who finished ninth.
