Cycling team AG2R-Citroën has only three riders left in the Tour de France. The French team reported on Tuesday that Mikaël Chérel and Aurélien Paret-Peintre will no longer start. Both French have tested positive for corona during the weekly checks carried out by the organization.

The team now only has the Frenchman Benoît Cosnefroy, the Belgian Stan Dewulf and the Luxembourger Bob Jungels, winner of a stage.
Paret-Peintre finished fifteenth in the Tour last year, this year he occupied 24th place after fifteen stages. Since the start in Denmark on July 1, ten riders have left the Tour due to a corona infection.
