Cycling through Amsterdam completely naked, that was possible during the Naked Bike Ride today. The cycling nudists did this to draw attention to the vulnerability of cyclists and the environment. From Park Frankendeal they cycled with several stops towards the Vondelpark.

The Naked Bike Ride was organized in Amsterdam for the first time in 2005. What is striking is that there are mainly men at the start. The women who participate in the cycling tour also find that very unfortunate. “Perhaps a little shame for their body, I think,” says one of the participants.
“Normally naked bodies are made whole, but not here”
The participants especially enjoy the tour through the city. “We don’t often have the opportunity to do this in Amsterdam”, says an enthusiastic cyclist. “Just cycling naked and the atmosphere here is just cozy,” says another.
Passers-by were also impressed by the spectacle. “Normally naked bodies are made whole, but not here,” says a tourist. A newly married couple was also amazed on their special day. “It actually makes our special day extra special.”
