Customs building on LAR sold for more money than expected

That is a lot more than the estimated 2.75 million, when the city of Menen put the building up for sale in March. It has been partially leased by customs since 2019. The city then invested 650,000 euros to make it a hub for business people commuting between Ghent and Lille. The city received six bids, the highest coming from a transport company from Ypres.
