Hüllhorst, February 2022. 130,387 euros: The fashion company JEANS FRITZ presented this generous proceeds from its traditional fundraising campaign to the child protection association. “We are very grateful for this long-standing, active support of JEANS FRITZ, especially in difficult times,” said Prof. Dr. Gaby Flösser, Chairwoman of the Child Protection Association in North Rhine-Westphalia. She accepted the symbolic donation check at the company headquarters in Hüllhorst on behalf of the entire child protection association and thanked everyone involved in this campaign – the management, the JEANS FRITZ staff and of course the customers who were willing to donate.
Since 2003, JEANS FRITZ has published a specially produced calendar every year. Customers can take it home with them when shopping in the branches as a thank you for a small donation. The money that is collected in this way goes in full to the child protection association, which as a non-profit organization depends on donations like this one. The donations benefit the multi-faceted work of the association, such as the multifaceted efforts to combat violence against children and young people. Since the year 2000, JEANS FRITZ has supported the child protection association with donations totaling over 3.2 million euros. “For us, the social commitment to the child protection association is simply part of our corporate philosophy,” explained Thorsten Fritze, Managing Director of JEANS FRITZ since the beginning of 2022. “It is important to us to help young people – and with the child protection association we have the right partner at our side.” And of course the tradition will be continued! The 2023 family calendar is already being planned and will be available in the JEANS FRITZ branches from the summer with great photos, as well as numerous competitions and discount coupons.
