Curry has been missing Golden State for weeks

Four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is likely to be out for a few weeks through injury.

As “ESPN” reported, the 34-year-old basketball superstar sustained a “left leg injury” in the 119:113 win against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night. Curry is scheduled to be out at least until the Allstar Game in Salt Lake City on February 19 (local time).

Against Dallas, Curry left the game in the third quarter after his knee collided with Mavericks pro McKinley Wright’s. Up to this point, Curry had scored 21 points for the champion.

For Curry it would be the second injury break of the current season. In mid-December, he suffered a partial dislocation of his right shoulder and missed 11 games with the Warriors. With just 27 wins from 53 games, defending champions Golden State are lagging behind their own claims.
