The most demanded profile is that of Insurance Manager and the best paid is the Artificial Intelligence Engineer

The second edition of the Adecco Salary Guide of the Labor Market specialized by sectors, a complete analysis of remunerations in Spain in the last year, focusing on essential positions whose salary range is below 40,000 euros gross per year on average.

The analysis collects data from most outstanding profiles of each sector: its salary band, its geographical distribution and the characteristics of that function, as well as the training necessary to perform those roles.

The guide also analyzes the impact that the health crisis caused by COVID-19 had and still has in these sectors, how it has evolved after the pandemic, and what are the future forecasts in each of these areas of activity.

In this article, in particular, we are going to focus on the situation and future forecasts for the Banking and Insurance sector, according to data collected by Adeco.

Current and future situation of Banking and Insurance

The most demanded profile in the banking and insurance field is Insurance managerwhich brings together 1 out of every 4 offers and whose average salary is 27,375 euros gross per year, and the best paid below 40,000 euros is the Artificial Intelligence Engineerwith an average remuneration of 35,300 euros gross per year.

In a second step we find profiles such as UX Designers (30,000 euros/year) and the Financial advisors (28,940 euros per year on average).

Between 26,000 and 27,000 euros of gross annual average remuneration, positions such as Big data analysts, Private banking advisors Y risk analysts (in addition to the insurance managers).

Lastly, there are the Commercial managers (21,690 euros), the Bank managers (20,600 euros) and the Customer service technicians (18,400 euros/year).

Both banks and insurance companies continue to focusing their efforts on the development of technological capabilities that allow them to adapt and personalize their productsin addition to improve customer experience comprehensively through all its channels.

Parallel to the progressive disappearance of traditional commercial banking, the use of digital banking increases nonstop. The digitization of banking services requires entities to offer safer and more efficient processes, to be more competitive against providers of financial technology services (fintech) that are consolidating in the market. Therefore, the demand for Online Banking Managersas well as the need for talent with a greater technological component such as: Big data analysts, Experts in Cybersecurity, UX Designersand also Artificial Intelligence Engineers.

For its part, insurers need to improve the online customer experience, to be more accessible and competitive. Therefore, in this environment of maximum digitization, in which the insurtech continue to gain market shareinsurance companies are also betting on profiles that help them improve usability, cybersecurity, machine learning and the application of Big Data technologies.
