Liverpool (dpa) – Just four days after the final of the Africa Cup of Nations, Liverpool football professionals Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané are said to be playing in the Premier League again.
“I think they will be available,” said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. Salah plays on Sunday (8 p.m. / DAZN) in the final of the continental tournament with Egypt against his club colleague from Senegal.
“I think the winner will be back on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest and the other one probably a little earlier,” said Klopp. “Whoever wins will probably fly back to their home country to celebrate, that’s the way it is.”
Liverpool play Cardiff City in the FA Cup on Sunday and Leicester City in the Premier League on Thursday. The Klopp side are nine points behind Manchester City in the league and one game down.
