Alba goes into his Euroleague home game on Thursday against top Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg (8 p.m.) more rested than in recent weeks. Because the team recently had three days without a game – a rarity in the schedule of the Berliners.
“Every day is good to just be at home more and sleep in your own bed. That gives you extra energy,” said winger Louis Olinde.
Alba now wants to preserve this good feeling. “The body just feels better and you can take that into the game. You just feel more confident then,” added Olinde.
The Final Four in the cup is already on the weekend after next. “Of course you already have the trophy in your head. You know that something is coming in just under two weeks. But we’re not trying to deal with that just yet,” added Olinde.

Top scorer Marcus Eriksson will still be missing. The Swede has been struggling with a foot injury for some time. “His healing process is not going as we had hoped. It’s going to take longer,” Gonzalez said. A game against Zenit and on Sunday against Crailsheim is therefore almost impossible.
The cup remains a goal for his comeback.
