Cup finals, giant: Shiffrin leads in front of Brignone

Federica Brignone is on the hunt for her first giant success of the season in the race that closes the 2021/22 World Cup. After the first heat of the finals, the Italian is second 82/100 behind Mikaela Shiffrin, the fastest on the Meribel track that will host the World Championships next year. Perfect in the first part – up to the second intermediate she was the fastest – the Brignone accumulated all the delay in the final.

Further away – at 1 ”37 – Marta Bassino, who is sixth behind Mowinckel (behind 84/100), Vlhova (at 1” 08) and Gut (at 1 ”32).
