Referee with FIFA Badge Cüneyt Çakır ended his active refereeing career in the special match of the A National Football Team against Czechia in Gaziantep.
Çakır, who managed the first 5 minutes of the friendly match played between Turkey and Czechia at the Kalyon Stadium, congratulated Çakır with a hug from the National Team and Czech football players on the field.
Çakır, who was applauded by the fans in the stadium and chanted “Turkey is proud of you”, was given a plaque of appreciation by the President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), Mehmet Büyükekşi.
Çakır, who quit active refereeing, will work as a trainer in TFF.
