Culture house De Leest has successful ticket sales
From a survey by network organization cult! at 71 culture houses it appears that ticket sales are going badly to very badly at 58 percent of the culture houses surveyed compared to the period before corona. But that is not the case at De Leest in Izegem. “During the presale day on Saturday, November 19, more than 400 culture lovers bought tickets for the spring program of 2023,” says a satisfied alderman Kurt Himpe. “We even sold more tickets than during the presale for 2022.”
Well-known names and international clappers
“The program full of well-known names such as Flip Kowlier, Het Prethuis, Kommil Foo, Alex Agnew and a series of international top players is clearly catching on,” explains responsible Geerwin Vandekerckhove. “Customer loyalty is central to culture house De Leest and that clearly pays off with our loyal audience.” Some productions are flirting with a sale and extra performances have even been scheduled for some productions.
