The Cuby Museum in Grolloo will close its doors for almost two weeks from Monday. This is because of the construction of the new exhibition Legacy Lives. According to the museum, it is therefore not possible to admit visitors.
Legacy Lives is about the legacy of the blues group Cuby + Blizzards. It shows how the band lives on both musically and in thought. “There seems to be no end in sight for the legacy of Cuby & The Blizzards,” the museum announces.
Visitors are welcome for the first time on Sunday 30 April Legacy Lives. The official opening is the day before.
It is the second time in a relatively short time that the Cuby Museum has closed. A winter closure was imposed between last December and March due to the high gas price. The museum, located in Harry Muskee’s old farmhouse, would only be open on Sundays during those months.
