CSVC first win against competitor Fit Boys, VVAK records two wins

FOOTBALL – In the 3rd division D of Saturday football, the three teams that had not yet won this season faced each other last night: CSVC and Fit Boys. The home team put an end to that dramatic series, won 3-0, and could therefore really cheer for the first time after 12 matches. Fit Boys is already thirteen games without a win due to the defeat.

The Coevorder club climbs through the victory, goes over SVN’69, to place 12 with 5 points from 12 matches. SVN’69 is thirteenth with 3 out of 13 and Fit Boys now has 2 out of 13.

Thanks to hits from Hilko Meijer and Ruben Koster, the home club already led 2-0 at halftime and the final score was determined by an own goal at 3-0.

3rd class C: Zuidlaren can’t stunt against leader

ZFC Zuidlaren was unable to provide a stunt on its own field in the make-up game against leader Velocitas. The team of coach Paul Ravenau lost 0-1. The only goal came after about half an hour of play: Quinn Mekel became the match winner for the Groningen club.

Velocitas remains the leader, now with 34 points from 13 games. Zuidlaren is in the middle bracket with 18 points from 13 matches.

5th class G: VVAK wins again

In the 5th class G of Saturday football there was finally a three-pointer for VVAK last night. The club from Alteveer Kerkenveld won at home with a minimal difference of SV Ens: 1-0. Erik Sieders became the match winner for the formation of trainer Rolf Drent ten minutes before the end.

Due to the victory, VVAK remains penultimate in this 5th class G, now with 7 points from 11 matches. Blokzijl is still scoreless in this class after eleven games.

The title fight in the 5th division G is between Nagele, MSC, Steenwijker Boys and Alcides, who are within three points of each other.
