In Alt-Hohenschönhausen on Saturday evening, a 23- and 34-year-old woman and a 19-year-old trans woman who had previously taken part in Christopher Street Day were homophobically insulted – two of the three people were spat in the face.

The three colorfully dressed people were initially in a supermarket on Hauptstrasse around 9:10 p.m. when they noticed five to six young people who are said to have imitated them, stared at them and also filmed them.

When they left the store, they were followed by the group and insulted homophobic. The 23- and 34-year-old was spat on the face.

The suspects were able to flee before the alarmed emergency services from police section 31 arrived. The police state protection of the State Criminal Police Office is investigating into insults with a homophobic background and bodily harm.
